This advisory is relevant only if you used the CLI command to execute any of the actions described in the post-mortem, specifically those involving unlocking your wallet with your password, and this only applies if you used a CLI command and installed using pip install or pip update for Bittensor.

If you used Polkadot.js or any other wallet, or installed straight from the source, you are probably not affected. However, it is still strongly recommended that you update Bittensor to the latest version and, once feasible, transfer all your TAO to a newly created address. Please don't panic if you have potentially been affected, OTF is working on instructions on how to deal with the situation And again, this only shows if said key used any of those actions, not if you were 100% affected since we can't tell which Bittensor version you were running those commands with.
